5th Grade Parent/Student Meeting

Please join us Sun, May 19, following worship in Room A5 for a meeting of all parents and students completing 5th Grade. Pastor Erick and Greg Rusch, Director of Youth Ministries, will be sharing information about upcoming opportunities to connect in the summer AND answering all of your questions about Youth Ministries.

Leaders in Training Camp for Grades 9-12, Jun 16-Jul 5

This 3-week intensive experience will teach everything your youth will need to be ministry team leader and a future camp counselor. Check it out on The HUB. Scholarships are available.

New Sister Chicks Study

All ladies are welcome to join our new study on Colossians: He is Enough by Asheritah Ciuciu. Discover the Secret to a Full Life bylooking at the importance of Jesus’ sufficiency and sovereignty.We will meet May 28 7-9p at Grace. Lay Servant Training

The Gulf Central District of the Florida Methodist Church is offering Lay Servant Training June 14-15 at the Pasadena Community Church, 227 70th St. S, St. Petersburg, FL. You can register for one of three courses: Basic, Leading Worship or Leading Missional Small Groups. Cost: $25. For more information and registration forms, contact the church office. Family Promise Day Center The Women of Grace encourage you to help support one of our mission partners - Family Promise. The Family Promise Day Center has the following current needs:

  • Quart and gallon size ziploc bags
  • Tear-off paper towels
  • Toilet tissue

Items can be dropped off in the bins found at the Grace HUB. Thank you for your support. For more information please contact Carrie Simmons or Kristen Cupole. Every part makes a difference.

Ministry of Hope Volunteer Needed

The Ministry of Hope has a vacancy on the grocery pick up schedule for Tuesdays at the Miller Rd Winn Dixie starting in January. Groceries are picked up at 11a and delivered to the MOH on Dorman Rd. The time commitment is normally 2 hours or less each week. If you have time to volunteer for this local ministry, please contact Janeen Long at 813-685-5047.

Grace Kids Ministries Info

VBS Sports Camp

Dates: June 24-28

Times: 5:45-8:15 PM

Ages: 4 years-old through Grade (in 2018-19)

• 4 year-olds must be fully independent in the bathroom

Cost: $35 per camper

Join us for Sports Camp as we strive to go "Beyond The Gold." During the week, the campers will have a great time participating in fun sports like ultimate frisbee, soccer, basketball, cheerleading and age appropriate games for 4 & 5 year-olds. Additionally they will sing songs and learn important character traits like team work, perseverance, respect, sacrifice and strategy through scripture stories in the Bible. Summer Camp for Children

Jun 10-15 • Rising Grade 4 through Rising College Freshman • Children and youth from Grace Community will travel together for a week of extraordinary fun. Registration for camp is now open and will fill up quickly. Please CLICK HERE to register. Scholarships are available, but start the process soon! We do not want any children or youth to miss out on camp.

Refuge Youth Ministries Info


• Small groups will meet each Wed evening, 6:30-7:30p, through May 22. They will resume in August.

• SAVE THE DATE! Summer Kick-Off, Jun 2, 5-7:30p. Open to ANY/ALL outgoing Grade 5-college. FREE: food, fun, waterslide, & giveaways!

• Summer Camp: June 10-15, Warren Willis Camp. ALL sign-up & payment via: warrenwilliscamp.org/classiccamps (contact Greg for details).

Standard Sunday Schedule:

  • 10:15 am Bible study for middle school students in room A5 (2nd & 4th Sundays)
  • 10:15 am Bible study for high school students in room C1 (2nd & 4th Sundays)
  • Evening Club for middle school students, 5-6:15p
  • Café for middle & high school students (bring money to buy pizza, snacks, and drinks), 6:15-6:45p
  • Evening Club for high school students, 6:45-8p

Standard Wednesday Schedule:

  • Small groups, we call the Grace Groups, for youth!
  • We meet from 6:30-7:30 at Grace
  • Separate lessons for – high school girls, high school guys, middle school girls, & middle school guys


Graduation Sunday

This is one of our favorite (and sad) days in Refuge Youth Ministry. We will honor our graduates (college, high school, trade school, military, etc) TODAY at 10:15 am. Our Director of Youth Ministries, Greg Rusch, will share information about all our graduates and deliver the message.

Recurring Service Work

Recurring Service Work at Ministry of Hope. Second and fourth Friday of each month. Hours start as early as 2p and run until 8:30p. Click HERE to see more details and sign-up! Hours count towards required school hours (bring forms).
